The advantages of wallpaper start with the almost unlimited styles, colors, shapes, prints and themes. Even if the upfront cost is a tad on the high side, today’s wallpapers can look as rich and perform as functional for 15 years or more. In this common space hallway, we removed some very old damaged wallpaper and applied and smoothed new plaster for a charming, neutral, chevron print.

We painted the ceiling, then brushed satin imprevo on the trim in Linen White. This premium, low luster product is formulated for excellence in leveling and concealing any small imperfections on the molding itself. Once all that was dry, we set up large table spaces for unrolling, cutting, pasting and preparing each wallpaper piece for precise application on the wall, making sure the designs matched at every seam. Hanging wallpapering is the perfect task for being fussy and finicky, and everyone on our team is just that on projects like this. How very cool for these co-op tenants to care enough to call in the very best - that’s us - to clean out, clean up, prime, paint, plaster, hang wallpaper, protect the floors and doors, tidy up and exceed expectations when it’s all done.

We helped coordinate the front-end paperwork required by the building’s board and management to make the interior changes. Then we rolled in to remove wallpaper and old glue, expertly clean the walls and completely refresh the space. Now, it’s tricky to know if it’s going to be more energizing to step outside here onto a lovely, protected patio space or to step back inside on these handsome parquet floors among smooth, clean, freshly painted walls. The Extra White paint choice from Sherwin-Williams conveys goodness, youthfulness and tranquility. The walls are eggshell for easy to keep clean without glare, and the trim was painted the same color in semi-gloss. We doubt this lovely place with its marvelous views will stay on the market very long.

Their stroke of genius began with calling us to paint their entire 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo. So, we did.

 It is a beautiful space with natural daylight, contemporary vibes and state-of-the-art materials. This master bedroom took on a coat of Benjamin Moore’s Balboa Mist, one of the sophisticated paints in the Off-White Color Collection. When the family is not hanging loose in its comfortable, freshly painted living spaces and bedrooms, they might be found relaxing in the sculpture garden, lounge or rooftop deck; working in the provided workspace; swimming in the pool; supervising kids in the playroom; or breaking a sweat and keeping in shape in the fitness center ~ all GALERIE on-site amenities.
