Riverside Blvd. is the new kid on the block for residential living, having been developed in the 1990s. Hugging the Hudson River, the former industrial site was home to the Hudson River Railroad, built in 1846 to connect Albany with New York City. Today, high-rise luxury condos boast hotel-style amenities and elegant lifestyles. Riverside Park, established in 1872, stretches four miles of 253 acres along the waterfront.

When their original contractor flaked out of remodeling work, a family with a time constraint found us through a neighbor’s recommendation. We loved helping them in a crunch. It is noteworthy that we became involved so quickly because we have all the necessary insurance documents on hand. Additionally, we are experienced working in this building and know what is expected and how to get the job done. With keen eyes and sharp skills, our team painted light colors over dark ones. Within walking distance of Grand Central Terminal, the midtown neighborhood of Murray Hill attracts commuters by day and diners and nightlife aficionados by dusk. The tree-lined streets and attractive architecture have evolved from homes for the affluent to nowadays residences which are more affordable than other Manhattan places. It projects a youthful energy and contemporary vibes. A first-time homeowner embraced the idea of living here, while having the vision to see beyond some dirty, old wallpaper and interior dinginess.

We helped coordinate the front-end paperwork required by the building’s board and management to make the interior changes. Then we rolled in to remove wallpaper and old glue, expertly clean the walls and completely refresh the space. Now, it’s tricky to know if it’s going to be more energizing to step outside here onto a lovely, protected patio space or to step back inside on these handsome parquet floors among smooth, clean, freshly painted walls. Whatever. Welcome home, new homeowner!
