Gowanus Cabinet Painting Contractor

The kitchen really is the heart of the home, not only for food and beverages, but also for info exchange, notes, reminders, kid’s drawings and all kinds of communication. This Brooklyn space was definitely outdated with dark cupboards and round knobs alongside darker – black – appliances. And, the stainless steel appliances were not showcased the way they are with the changes.

Our team removed the old, dark backsplash, patched the wall and installed a very cool new penny tile backsplash pattern. The cabinet doors were taken off-site for expert refinishing in our dedicated spray paint studio. We expertly resurfaced the upper cupboard doors with Farrow & Ball’s Oxford Stone. The lower cabinets took on Farrow & Ball’s Tanner’s Brown. With sleek, new hardware handles, the transformation is stunning. It exudes a contemporary aura and like all kitchen renovations, adds measurable value to the property and immeasurable value to the daily experience living here.

If small spaces could talk, they might just ask for light and bright colors every time. Removing black counters and installing white ones is an instant gratification kind of project. The white surfaces reflect light and add a contemporary brand of sophistication. This forward-thinking client understood that new cabinet paint would raise the bar on this kitchen for style and glamour.

The Hale Navy color from Benjamin Moore’s Historic Colors Collection is a deeply saturated shade of blue in a satin finish that hearkens to the sea. It also delivers on warmth, harmony and loyalty. Cabinet resurfacing is one of the best, most economical ways to spruce up any kitchen, and we excel with copious experience and an incredible team of professional painters. New brushed nickel hardware in a more streamlined, modern shape adds to the glam factor. The very cool industrial pendants lights look a little more relevant in this newly rejuvenated heart of the home.

Midtown East Backsplash Tile Contractor

According to nextdoor.com: “Research shows that connecting with just six neighbors reduces loneliness and social anxiety.” The nextdoor app helps people who live near one another help out, sell stuff, exchange information and share contractor recommendations. And we are mighty proud to have been one of the contractor recommendations for a kitchen renovation before new folks moved in from out of state.

The galley kitchen is much loved for efficiency and convenience, and this one’s wood cabinets and old backsplash had worn out its welcome. We came in to resurface all the cupboard doors and drawers in a much brighter white. We also removed and replaced the dull, mini-brick look backsplash with an interesting blue and white geometric tile pattern. The somewhat long hardware was replaced with a shorter version which adds to the contemporary flair. These new homeowners and now clients of ours are already connected with neighbors who happen to be clients as well. The value of word-of-mouth advertising cannot be purchased. It is a result of professional services rendered with amazing results, which is our goal on every project.

Bronx Kitchen Painting Contractors

Updating a kitchen ranges from the price of a new car, albeit a small model, to simple dollar store décor items. One of the large surface areas and major focal points in this proverbial heart of the home is the cabinetry. This couple in Riverdale craved a new look, but already loved their high quality cabinets. Quality is a hallmark of this Bronx neighborhood, with large estates overlooking the Hudson River. Nice single family homes and co-op buildings lend a diversified, affordable section of the borough. Tree-lined streets offer a pastoral feel of being out of the city, while still in the city.

Something as simple as painting cabinets for these folks added new energy and a more sophisticated appearance to the kitchen. Covering a dusty rose red with a fresh warm white takes special care to prepare the surface for maximum adherence and smooth covering. The molding and detail in the cabinet piece got our attention. It takes professional painters every time to assure all the grooves and seams are painted perfectly, full coverage without any excess or drippings. The sharp white upper cabinets and black countertop, anchored with lower rich wood cabinets, provide an affordable, contemporary refreshment to this kitchen.

2-Tone Cabinet Painting in Manhattan

The kitchen, that proverbial heart of the home, has evolved in recent months in many a home to the proverbial heart of work space. Manhattan residences are not synonymous with McMansions or sprawling spaces where a home office can be quickly carved in an under-utilized room. Here, things are organized for maximum efficiency in every square foot; there simply are no under-utilized rooms. So, the new work-at-home model – whether temporary or permanent - must be adapted to what’s available. Here it was one outdated kitchen.

The client wanted to refresh her kitchen/home office combo, so after beautiful new counters and a modern horizontal-pattern backsplash were installed, we breezed in to paint the cabinets and install new hardware. The upper cupboards have been smoothly coated with the Sherwin-Williams satin paint named Pure White. The lower ones are Tricorn Black, also in satin, also a Sherwin-Williams product. The hardware is an understated elegant brushed nickel in simple square knobs and horizontal draw pulls. We suspect this lady can work better, smarter and more efficiently for having this stylish, sleek, new update at the end of her 14-foot [give or take] commute to work.
