AFTER, beautiful and sophisticated

BEFORE, out of place color

Bronx Kitchen Painting Contractors

Updating a kitchen ranges from the price of a new car, albeit a small model, to simple dollar store décor items. One of the large surface areas and major focal points in this proverbial heart of the home is the cabinetry. This couple in Riverdale craved a new look, but already loved their high quality cabinets. Quality is a hallmark of this Bronx neighborhood, with large estates overlooking the Hudson River. Nice single family homes and co-op buildings lend a diversified, affordable section of the borough. Tree-lined streets offer a pastoral feel of being out of the city, while still in the city.

Something as simple as painting cabinets for these folks added new energy and a more sophisticated appearance to the kitchen. Covering a dusty rose red with a fresh warm white takes special care to prepare the surface for maximum adherence and smooth covering. The molding and detail in the cabinet piece got our attention. It takes professional painters every time to assure all the grooves and seams are painted perfectly, full coverage without any excess or drippings. The sharp white upper cabinets and black countertop, anchored with lower rich wood cabinets, provide an affordable, contemporary refreshment to this kitchen.

New Jersey Kitchen Update

Once the heart of the home for the food and beverages there, kitchens have evolved into gathering spaces where local and global issues are addressed, along with homework, idea exchanges and family discussions. The décor here can even set the household mood, and replacing dark, dated cabinet fronts and black counters with bright white everything lifted the energy in this Cliffside Park, N.J., home.

Here’s where perhaps mother knows best, as the kitchen makeover was a mom’s gift to her daughter. After new counters were in place, the Paintworks team scrutinized the cupboard doors and drawers, noting and correcting every little ding, dent and scratch. Only then did we paint the cabinets with Benjamin Moore’s popular classic, Decorator’s White. Outdated knobs were replaced with contemporary brushed nickel handles for a modern vibe and complement to the stainless steel appliances. We were energized as each door and drawer was transformed from drab and dull to stylish and sophisticated. This borough is known as “on top of the palisades” for its Hudson River bank, and this daughter homeowner is surely on top of the world with this newly renovated heart of her home.

Cabinet Painter Manhasset

Making kitchens sexy again is in our skill set, especially when working with homeowners who embrace a vision of sophistication like these folks. They meticulously planned to transform the heart of their home from an outdated dull country theme to an outstanding dynamite contemporary style. Knotty pine, wallpaper and a plaid valance might spell homey rustic in the Adirondacks, but here in Manhasset, it evokes the dullness of yesteryear. After having their old backsplash, countertops, some cabinetry and wallpaper removed, our Paintworks team was called in to paint and resurface all the cabinets.

in Two Colors

The new sleek panel-front cabinets over that spectacular lipstick red stove have been finished with the fresh, bright appeal of white. The lower cupboards, as well as the island base, now wear an elegant coat of Benjamin Moore’s Iron Mountain, a deep charcoal that exudes a timeless quality. When a project turns out with such a handsome design and thoroughly practical function, we are thrilled to have been a part of it. You can be daring and sensible, and this newly renovated kitchen has to be the envy of all in this small hamlet, population under 9,000, on the north shore of Long Island.
