Fine Paints of Europe Restaurant Painter

There’s no real reason the number NINE is so often found in phrases, like cloud nine, the whole nine yards and dressed to the nines. Maybe it is connected to a tailor having to use nine yards of fabric to make a suit. Maybe not. No matter. The Nines at 9 Great Jones Street adheres to a dress code “to the nines” and offers a brilliant red interior which evokes immense energy, romance, power and passion. We painted this ultra-swanky dining establishment after the gold leaf wallpaper was installed on the ceiling.

Fine Paints of Europe has one North American importer in our neighbor state of Vermont. Manufactured in The Netherlands, the paints offer a luxury enamel finish which is exquisite and refined. Preparation is as precise a task as applying the paint using containments and air filters to keep the space clean and dust-free between coats. The tasks are tedious to achieve these stunning results, and satisfaction when the job is done takes the place one above nine to a solid 10 on a scale of one to ten.

Shake Shack Exterior Metal Painter

From one hot dog cart in Madison Square Park to more than 350 fast casual restaurants in the world, Shake Shack still shakes things up with burgers, fries, floats and shakes. The park opened to the public in 1847, and Shake Shack did the same in 2001 with a mission to raise money for a public art project. Recently, the Shake Shack powers-that-be went out in search of quotes to replace its galvanized metal exterior. Sticker Shock! Enter Paintworks!

We cleaned, restored, primed and painted the distinguished metal surround with part of the menu on it –BURGERS FROZEN CUSTARD FRIES SHAKES and so on. The folks at Shake Shack are as cool on their lemonade and floats, fun to work for, and Madison Square Park’s challenges were met by our experienced paint crew with grace and determination. It is essential to use the right products for bonding to metal while being resistant to the elements. Not only did we finish the job for about one-tenth of the replacement quotes, we worked between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. so the business never had to turn away one shake order. And just so you know, the obstacles of working in a park and overnight and with metal don’t shake us up one bit.

Whole Foods Commercial Painter

Whole Foods service counter recently painted black for an elite contrast with white and stainless steel.

NYC Commercial Painting

We love Whole Foods the business and foods which are whole and healthy. We stay healthy so we can take on projects of all kinds all over the Big Apple and northern New Jersey, residential and commercial. Whole Foods opened in the fall of 1980 in Austin, Texas, and now has 500 stores across the country. Here we had to work after hours, obviously. You just cannot spray paint around food or customers! Our team is always willing to paint odd hours, nights or weekends, so a business does not lose any of its open time.

The somewhat ugly yellow-greenish counter here had to be updated, and simple black promotes elegance and style, yes, even at a Whole Foods service counter. And it’s the ideal contrast to bright white tiled walls and stainless steel. The purpose is that you don’t really see the freshly painted front, but focus on the food, the staff present to help you, and the specifics of your order. This way, you can stay healthy, too, and not be unnecessarily distracted by some outdated shade of lemon-lime paint.

Aha moment, when classy black reigns at this counter!

Starting the job, protecting everything, looking forward to the new look ourselves!

Queens Commercial Office Painter

Your normal field of vision is in the neighborhood of 170 degrees. More than half of that is peripheral vision. So while you may be focused on one thing ahead or slightly off to the right or left, your brain is processing lots of information from peripheral vision. If you are working in an office, this could mean you notice not only the walls, but overhead. And if the ceiling looks like what we recently encountered, you could spend more time wondering if a deteriorating acoustic tile or some unwanted leaking liquid might land in your hair than getting your work done.

We painted Gray Owl on the walls in this industrial office, then matched the window trim and baseboard for a cool contrast. The ceiling needed some serious help, so once assured the leaks were no longer active, we replaced acoustic tiles and sprayed the ceiling. Now, everyone here at Hugh O’Kane Electric Company is laser-focused on work, and their peripheral vision delivers only a clean, inviting, freshly painted office space.

Stunning Nike display with freshly painted backdrop

Fifth Avenue Retail Painters

Nike was founded in 1964 and sold 1,300 pairs of Japanese running shoes that year for $8,000. Revenues in 2020 topped $37 billion worldwide. Bednark has been in the full-service fabrication business for 15 years, designing, building and installing state-of-the-art transformational consumer experiences in display creativity. Everything Bednark crafts is made in the U.S.A. out of their cutting edge, 65,000-square-foot facility right here in New York City at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Teaming up with these impressive companies was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our expertise and professional approach to everything paint and renovation-related. We connected with the Bednark folks on removing and putting back up the display components. What a class act they are. And so are we. Our crew examined every square inch of the black walls, patching and smoothing them for brightening from basic black to brilliant white. Painting from a dark color to a much lighter one entails more than one coat, which must be brushed, rolled and finished with the touch of a few professional tradesmen who know all about texture, consistency and expert application. We liked being part of an expert trio composed of Nike, Bednark and Paintworks. It’s not the first time we’ve rubbed elbows with such stellar companies, and it won’t be the last.
