Rather than remove this built in shelving unit, the new homeowner opted to fix the holes and repaint the whole thing in colors that fit them. They chose a vibrant color that makes the cabinets feel new and unique. Painting everything else with fresh white completed the transformation. 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Cabinet coat with sanding in between the coats allowed the paint to go on smooth and bond properly. After living in their condo for 2 years this client wanted to refresh the place with new colors, patched holes, to make the place feel new again.

The super of the building recently removed the non-working intercom phone leaving a gapping hole in the living room wall. We were able to completely patch and plaster the hole so you can’t even tell it was there in the first place. After caulking around the windows and plastering the other cracks the place was ready for painting. Using fresh rollers and proper technique we repainted their accent wall to show seamless color. The previous paint job showed major flashings which distracted the eye from the tv the wall was situated on. This client wanted the wooden spindles, banister, and handrails to look prominent while also being protected for the long term. After some intense sanding we applied 2 coat of stain. Sanding and removing dust in between each coat allowed the wood to become smooth and sleek. Once the second coat had dried we applied a clear protective coat to ensure the handrail could handle intense traffic through the years. We love staining wooden handrails, banisters, spindles, and kick plates all over Brooklyn and NYC.

Painting Industrial Facilities In Long Island City

Being based in Long Island City gives us a great opportunity to help other businesses in the bustling industrial area. This local company was moving to a new facility that desperately needed refreshing and a new identity. The client chose their brands colors to adorn the doors, trim, and walls. The exterior roll-up garage doors were covered in rust and failing coatings. We used a industrial strength wire brush to grind off the failings coatings then painted with UV resistant paint to help protect the doors longer. With our state of the art fancy-schmancy spray machine, the T-9, we were able to paint this facility in efficient fashion.
