Closet Remodel Brooklyn

This family called us before they moved a few blocks over into their new home in Brooklyn Heights. They wanted a more open closet concept, so we removed the old closet doors, the surround walls and shelving plus the closet hang bars. Some of that left a bit of a mess, so we carefully plastered and sanded all the holes and installed J bead edges.

After we sanded and prepped everything for painting, the carpenter installed beautiful dark baseboards to contrast with the newly-installed, honey-colored wood floors. We painted the bedroom Benjamin Moore’s Sea View, a soft coastal blue color found in its Classic Color Collection. It’s like a touch of the sea in the city.

From an assortment of pickles and sautéed greens to jerk chicken, whole fish and pepper shrimp, this new restaurant flaunts a Caribbean flair with regional specialties. The Paintworks & Decorating specialty is painting in superior fashion, and we painted the inside before hiking our ladders up above the entrance to paint the logo on the outside. Now it's easy to see, easy to find, easy to order and fun to go to. Glady's enjoys a great corner spot a block from the Eastern Parkway Pedestrian Mall, but if you're stuck at work or home, opt for delivery. Yum-yum.
