 The area was beautiful around this large, 3-BR home, and the seller chose white for its universal appeal. The interior almost instantly brightened under the experienced Paintworks hands expertly maneuvering paint brushes, rollers and grout trowels. White is clean and fresh and reflects maximum light for a spacious interior feel. Additionally, any prospective buyer can visualize art, furnishings and fabric in pastel colors, bold and beautiful hues or more shades of neutral tones complementing the simplicity of white. We also re-grouted all the bathroom tile sprucing up those spaces. Paintworks doesn't share in any commission for the sale, but we know we were an important part of the process.

Gramercy Park Home Painter

In effort to sell this property in a timely fashion Halstead Realty and the owners decided to freshen up the place with a paint job so the property would show better. The NYC apartment hadn’t been painted in over 20 years and it showed. One day of intense plastering and painting got the condo back to near mint condition. The client chose Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White which works perfectly with the condo’s large living room windows. We always use Benjamin Moore Aura Bath and Spa in the bathroom to help protect the walls and ceiling from heat and humidity. Manhattan Dining Room and Hallway Painter

After a few weeks on the market this couple on the Upper East Side called us to help freshen up their home. With multiple young children running around, the walls in the hallway and dining room looked a little worn and dirty. After lightly cleaning the walls we painted the walls with Benjamin Moore Scuff X to help withstand the high traffic and constant touching. Scuff X is also very resistant to scuffs and is easy to wipe off any marks which made it the perfect product for this apartment while it is being viewed by prospective buyers. The dining room looks refreshed and clean with natural light pouring in.  

Painting Apartments To Sell in Manhattan, NYC 

When this spacious Upper East Side home was vacated by the previous tenant, the homeowner decided to sell the place instead of renting it out again. Realizing that the place hadn't been painted in over 7 years, the walls looked a little dingy and there was a few cracks in the ceilings. We easily remedied all surface issues and painted the walls with Benjamin Moore's Decorator's White which utilizes the natural light and shows how much space there really is in this apartment. We painted the ceilings with Flat White that keeps each room balanced but provides a little contrast between the walls and ceiling. This is a good example of a staged apartment painted with high vibe colors but is neutral enough to appeal to most buyers.

In late Spring we painted this charming one bedroom apartment in the Midtown West area of Manhattan. The apartment has gorgeous soffits in the ceiling and beautiful extended crown molding that we wanted to highlight. The client went with Benjamin Moore's Stone White on the walls and a White Satin creating a nice calm contrast to compliment the natural light. The owner was about to put the apartment on the market but the place needed a little love to give it more pop.
