NYC Commercial Epoxy Painting

Everywhere people go, they are mentally and emotionally impacted by their surroundings, and this includes car parking garages and bike parking spaces. It may be subliminal, of which the dictionary definition is: [of a stimulus or mental process] below the threshold of sensation or consciousness; perceived by or affecting someone's mind without their being aware of it.” Contracting for and maintaining clean, modern, attractive spaces for residents to park their vehicles are priorities of one property management company in the Williamsburg vicinity of Brooklyn.

After cleaning, priming and painting the 4-wheel vehicle garage in contemporary black and white with wide, angled, white stripes, we went to work on the new 2-wheel parking room. The project started with cleaning everything with denatured alcohol, then priming with an oil-based primer for exceptional bonding. Industrial paint coats were professionally sprayed. Decorative lines matching the other garage were drawn and expertly painted. The crowning touch, which sounds like the ceiling, really was the floor, which our experienced team finished with epoxy floor paint with a super durable product. So much of our work is contingent on understanding the processes, the products and the professional application for a clean, long-lasting, attractive space, in this case for energetic pedal-pushers to rest their bicycles and themselves.

Brooklyn Parking Garage Painter

You just have to love property managers who care about the entire residential experience down to the parking garage. Whether you’re heading out for work, vacation, shopping or to visit a friend, or returning from some grand adventure, near or far, how very sleek to pull into an underground garage which evokes a contemporary vibe. Which says “we care about you and your experience living here.” Which lifts your spirits. Which presents itself as some Adidas-like, cool, visual phenomenon.

This doesn’t come together easily, we’re here to tell you. Our Paintworks crew utilized lasers and geometry principles to give this normally boring parking garage a chic, modern component sure to surprise and invigorate residents. It’s all very Brooklyn, the hipster borough also known as Kings County. Call us paint nerds. We love cleaning, priming and painting concrete walls, then strategically plotting and adding stripes to create the kind of wow factor not always encountered when parking a vehicle underground. It is pretty rad, that’s for sure.

Liberty National Golf Performance Center Painter.jpg

Earlier this year we had the amazing opportunity to paint the performance center at the prestigious Liberty National Golf course. A gorgeous course, Liberty National hosted the 2017 President's Cup. The performance center is a learning facility that houses top of the line technology to helps golfers improve their swing.

The center originally had idea paint on the walls. Idea paint allows for dry erase writing which at one point was very useful for the center but as they moved to more computer based tracking it became time to repaint the walls. The first step was to sand off the old idea paint so the new coats of paint would bond properly to the wall. Once that was done, we caulked any gaps, plastered any damage caused by wild golf balls and then primed the walls and ceilings. Liberty National chose 2 beautiful gray colors with a white stripe in the middle. We painted the lower half of the wall with Benjamin Moore Scuff X to help withstand scuff marks and stray golf balls. After we painted the ceilings white and the walls gray we used a self leveling laser to tape off the lines for the middle white stripe. We wanted a strong white to give contrast to the room so we used Benjamin Moore Aura Matte. We love how the colors turned out. The finished product looks very clean and professional. It was a fun project as well. Painting 20 foot high ceilings was quite the challenge!
